Coloured Pencil
Found these two, unfinished, coloured pencil paintings, when I was doing my annual studio clear up. Decided to finish them and think they didn't turn out too bad. I love working with coloured pencil, but have to be in the right frame of mind as they can take so long building up the colour. Anyway , decided to do some more so watch this space.

Ardoginna Castle
“ Pen & Ink on acrylic paper.”
Had a week-end away recently in Ardmore, Co Waterford. Next to the house we stayed in was this amazing ruin of a castle. This is only a small part of it as there are numerous outbuildings and extensions, all unfortunately in a ruined state, …must have been an amazing place when it was complete.
Decided to try out the pen and inks again for this and I think it worked out alright.
