This has been sitting around the studio for a long time now, and was getting knocked around and marked by other paintings, so I bit the bullet and put it on the easel on Saturday and it’s nearly done, maybe an hour or so more to do.

Not sure if this is finished yet, it’s acrylic on paper and as you can see I have tried to use a watercolour technique on the background. I would be interested to hear opinions on this.
The cold weather has finally caught up with us in East Cork, although we have not had snow like they have in other parts of Ireland and England. I’m sitting in my studio with three heaters going, trying to find inspiration to paint. I really should try to finish some of the 14/15 pictures I have started and am yet to complete.
