Not sure if this is finished yet, it’s acrylic on paper and as you can see I have tried to use a watercolour technique on the background. I would be interested to hear opinions on this.
The cold weather has finally caught up with us in East Cork, although we have not had snow like they have in other parts of Ireland and England. I’m sitting in my studio with three heaters going, trying to find inspiration to paint. I really should try to finish some of the 14/15 pictures I have started and am yet to complete.
Wow! I love the energy in this painting, and I think your treatment of the background works very well. It adds to the excitement of the moment without being intrusive on the subjects. Well done! nancy
