Where we live

IMG_5963-1

“Storm brewing”  7”x5” Acrylic on canvas board.

Just back from a walk along the cliffs. A stunning afternoon with the sun splitting the stones and the cliff path a riot of wild flowers. How many of us take for granted the beauty of the places where we live and have to remind ourselves on a regular basis?

The picture above is of the lighthouse island off Ballycotton in different weather conditions but still nevertheless as beautiful, with the storm clouds brewing and the sky becoming darker and darker until the inevitable downpour.

  1. I've been missing you, Phil.

Love the moodiness in this one and really like the grays in the clouds.

  2. Love that sky!
You are so right in what you say about appreciating our home surroundings - so much waiting for us with little or no effort or expense needed to get there!
