I have been working towards the Kilkenny Art’s Festival, during which I will be exhibiting with a fellow Artist Catherine Rodgers. I’m trying to decide whether these giant cabbages should have a giant caterpillar or giant cabbage butterfly or to just leave them as is. Any suggestions?
I will also be exhibiting in the Kinsale Art Festival, in Engel and Volkers, Estate Agents, 71 Main St, Kinsale, from the 7th July.
Nice work Phil!
ReplyDeleteI love them as they are. I can't quite picture them with a caterpillar or butterfly. Do you have a piece of acetate to paint on to try it out?

I love this as it is. It's fantastic Phil! And beautifully painted. There is just something about this one. I would never have thought to paint cabbages but it's just right.

I spent a lot of time on it today...I am wondering which painting you are going to exhibit? All the ones you show here? They are full of impact...
Love this just as it is! Good luck with the festival.
