A view of Ballycotton as you enter the village, pen & ink on Bristol board. The ink seems to dry very quickly on this paper, which sometimes results in hard edges where values meet, …..or maybe I have to learn how to use it!
Lovely tones with the pen and ink. The dark of the shadows under the cars and windows are great. It is a nice looking townscape. I cannot offer any advice . I use Lamy Safari Joy ink pen on Moeskine sketchbook.
I agree with Mary. These pen and ink works you have been doing are outstanding mate. I want to come and live here...not really too far to move is it? :-) Stew. stewcrowther.wordpress.com _________________________

Very nice - I don't really see the problem you mention, I am impressed with the differing shading that you did.
ReplyDeleteYour pen and ink work is always so well done.
