Another pen & ink

Cloyne cathedral-001

This is Cloyne Cathedral, a church badly in need of maintenance. A local group has been formed to raise funds for it’s restoration and I promised a painting them to auction. I felt a pen and ink would be appropriate for an old building like this. What do you think?

  3. This would make a good postcard, Phil, that could be used to advertise the building's plight.

  4. This is very nice. I hope lots of money is raised to help restore this church...so sad to see these old places fall to ruin...

  8. Hi Phil,
Blimey, you work quick. I keep missing your posts.
You know, you really have found a fantastically individual style with the pen and ink. And so much control over line and tone. The correct values make them look almost photographic but with more interest.
